Down River 02:19
From the top of the Shannon, to the edge of the world. From the bottom of Allen, to the lands of Lough Gur. From the borders of Cavan, and the hill’s of Airainn. I will need all the iron I can get my hands on. I’m going Down River. Down River. For the knowledge of Salmon, past the eye of Athlone. Like a boat on the water or a hand skipping stone. From the plains of Old Guinea, to the Bay of Bengal. Set your sail to the wind and let God take you home. I’m going Down River. Down River.

I’m stuck in the sixties, and low on the grass. It’s been 17 years since I’ve been to mass. I’m stuck in the sixties, with all of the hippies. I’m stuck in the sixties, although it had passed. It’s been 52 years but I’ll make it last. I’m stuck in the sixties, I’m constantly tripping. I’m stuck in the sixties, that postmodern lag. The world is not ending, transitions are hard. I’m stuck in the sixties, exploring it’s meaning. I’m stuck in the sixties, transformative healing.

I miss pizza. I miss coffee. I miss donuts. I miss drugs. I miss football. I miss sugar. I miss bliss and ignorance. Chorus: Oh but I’m happy letting go of everything. Oh it’s nothing fancy just the laws of lose and gain. I miss falling back at mothers. I miss on my fathers back. I miss rooming with my brothers. And jumping on my sister bed. (Chorus) I miss game and I miss smoothies. I miss cities. I miss shows. I miss being young and stupid. Soon I will miss growing old. (Chorus x2)

Hermit Phase 03:13
A man can’t live on likes alone, he needs the likes of love. A man can’t live on likes alone, and help from up above. Chorus: I’ll get there some day. Leave this lonesome place. Find a friendly face. End this Hermit Phase. A man can’t live on thoughts alone, he needs the likes of touch. A man can’t live on thoughts alone, and other dimensions. (Chorus) Outro: Yoweh Yaweh Yeweh Ohweh Yaweh Yoweh Ehweh Ohweh Yaweh Yeweh Ohweh Yawehoh x 2 Yoweh Yaweh Yoweh Ehweh Ohweh Yeweh Yoweh Yaweh Yoweh Yaweh Yo x2

I was feeling fine. I was feeling good. I was feeling wonderful. Then I was triggered. I was feeling fly. I was feeling flow. Someone should have told me life’s unpredictable. Fell for a globalist and went on a bit of a twirl. Fell for a globalist and near went off the edge of the world. I was making love. I was making hay. Sleeping well at night. Living well by day. I was on the move. I was on my way. But my way was interrupted by a mad conspiracy. (Chorus) Whoever decided the earth going round and round. Must have never fallen off the edge on to the ground. Whoever decided the truth is set in stone must not see the fallacy that it was once unknown. (Chorus x2)

I've been singing about you for 2 years now. You've been everywhere except inside my mouth. I've been singing about you for 2 years now. Someone told me to so I kept writing down. Hold me, closely, make me feel a bit less lonely. Hold me, closely, let go in your own time. I've been wondering when you would come around. Still you caught me off my guard and made no sound. I've been wondering when you would enter me. While you're here would you like a cup of tea? Hold me, closely, but please don't squeeze tightly Covi. Hold me, closely, I'll lather you with spice. Like you I am too looking to find a home. Hopefully we wont destroy the one we're on. I don't know if you're from a lab or from the zoo. From my experience you're a synthetic flu. Hold me, closely, for all that's good and holy moly. Hold me, closely, I'll put you in my rhyme. You freaked me out initially but now I'm fine. I am capable to go beyond my mind. And settle in to what is going on below. I'd like to thank you too for making me move slow. Hold me, closely, tell me what's your story homie? Hold me, closely, but don't keep me up all night. (Musical, vocal and whistle break) I don't want to suppress you with angry thoughts. You're in me now whether I do like it or not. Though my heart is fragile and my whole head hurts. You're also making me see what really matters. Hold me, closely, humble me and keep me cozy. Hold me, closely, I've waited a long time. Hold me, closely, upgrade me and get to know me. Hold me, closely, I've waited my whole life.

When I finally finish college imma put a house upon my piece of land. And from that moment onward imma take my own life in to my own hands. I don’t know how I’ll afford it but I know someday I’ll own it. I don’t know how I know it but I’ve got a rough sketch planned in my head. With my vision guided by my intuition. Off the main road, down the back road, up the laneway and to the end. x2 When I finally finish college imma plant myself some beetroot vegetables. And from that moment onward imma be a bit more independent. I don’t know how it grows, I’ll just create the conditions. If it don’t rain a week or two I’ll get my water from the well. And curse the God’s for making me carry this weight over the hill... Off the main road, down the back road, up the laneway and to the end. When I finally finish college imma put my feet upon the golden sand. And from that moment onward imma surrender to the magic on the land. I don’t know how it works, all I know is that it does. I don’t know why it hurts but I know I could make it worse. I don’t know but know not knowing makes life all the more better... Off the main road, down the back road, up the lane-way and to the end. x4
